Course Overview

The standard GCSE programme is spread over two years (Years 10 and 11) - which means that students should stay at the same school for these two years. Because of this, most good schools will not accept new students half way through the two-year GCSE programme at the end of Year 10, when students are normally 15 years old. However, a student who takes a one-year I/GCSE Programme can apply to enter an A level or IB Diploma programme the following year, depending on their results.
