Course Description

This one-year course is suitable for those who wish to work in an admin role which demands responsibility, autonomy and a wide range of skills including team work. A vital part of the course will be carrying out a block of work experience in an office over the course of the year e.g. in early December, early February and 2 weeks in March before the Easter break. Learners often gain employment from this experience. You may want to follow a legal or medical pathway. Duties may include data input, answering the telephone, correct layout of business documentation, using office equipment, storing and retrieving information and possibly organising events and meetings and minute writing. You will be expected to have good levels of personal presentation.

 

Entry Requirements

• four GCSEs at grade C or above to include English, plus success at Vocational/A Level/BTEC National Diploma/Extended Diploma or NVQ 2 Business and Administration • for mature students, success at interview and previous experience of using computers?????????sItemalueCount??????????????????????????????????????????????????S????PPropertiItemlu??????????
