Scholarships available - up to ?9,000 plus UK fees* The course aims to meet the increasing demand for natural resource and environmental economists who can help achieve the pressing need to build the economic dimensions of environmental change into the decisions of individuals, households, private organisations and governments. The course critically analyses the two-way relationship between economic and environmental systems and provides students with the knowledge and skills to apply the key concepts and principles of natural resource and environmental economics. The course comprises eight one-week assessed modules, an introductory module, a group project and an individual research project. Alternatively students can undertake the Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip)or Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert). For the PgDip you are required to complete eight modules, the introductory module and the group project and for the PgCert you complete six taught modules. Suitable for graduates with natural, physical and engineering science degrees keen to re-orient their careers toward natural resource and environmental economics, or graduates with a degree in economics seeking to develop a specialist knowledge of natural resource and environmental economics. Takes you on to a wide range of careers as professional economists in the public and private sectors. You will be taught by a wide range of enthusiastic experts from the academic staff at Cranfield as well as professional economists from the public and private sectors.
