It is aimed at those with professional experience as well as those interested in developing their knowledge and understanding of the role of journalism in different societies. The course provides an overview of the news media and structure of journalism in different cultures and responds to the growing interest in and demand for comparative study in the field of journalism studies. It combines the teaching of practical skills and techniques of journalism with the exploration of theoretical and analytical perspectives. Entry Requirements

The typical entry requirement is a first degree in a relevant discipline, normally an upper second or above or equivalent. Overseas students are expected to possess an IELTS score of 6.5.
