See http:www.swansea.ac.ukpostgraduateopendays for dates and booking information _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The MA in Gender and Culture in Swansea University?s Arts and Humanities is an interdisciplinary scheme taught by gender specialists in the subject areas of Classics and Ancient History, English, European Languages, History, Media Studies, and Political and Cultural Studies. The MA examines the production, reproduction and transformation of gender in culture and society. It benefits from the facilities and activities of GENCAS, the Centre for Research into Gender in Culture and Society, and is supported by regular research seminars and annual symposia. Our interdisciplinary Masters scheme (which is available both full-time and part-time) is taught by nationally and internationally acclaimed gender specialists across Swansea University?s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. You follow two modules in taught and supervised research skills training, one foundational gender theory module and three optional modules. Your study culminates in the writing of a dissertation in or across any of the subject disciplines contributing to the scheme. FUNDING: We have a number of University scholarships available to the value of ?2,700 and additional Arts and Humanities scholarships to the value of ?1,750. Entry Requirements

The typical entry requirement is a first degree in a relevant discipline, normally an lower second or above or equivalent. Overseas students are expected to possess an IELTS score of 6.5.
