Course Overview The core Capital Markets modules provide a firm grounding in the theory and practice of the operations of capital markets, including the pricing, valuation and risk management of capital market instruments, as well as an economic analysis of the relationships between the institutions that comprise the financial system. The Quantitative Methods in Finance module supports the other modules, and introduces the advanced quantitative techniques that are increasingly being used by practitioners. Specialist elective modules and the dissertation provide further opportunity to explore individual interests.
