Course Description

In order to ground students in representative approaches to American Studies, this course has the same compulsory courses in Semester 1 as the MA American Studies. In the remainder, specialization in History is evident in at least one 30-credit option and the 60-credit dissertation is undertaken on a historical topic employing historical methodology. This ensures a minimum of 90 credits in American History.
