Course Description

Entrants to this programme will normally be those wishing to enhance legal research skills prior to undertaking a PhD. The course offers candidates the opportunity to train as generalist socio-legal and criminological researchers with areas of specialist expertise. Graduates from the programme will be well placed to meet society s needs for perceptive, adaptable and imaginative socio-legal and criminological scholars and researchers, in higher education, government service, law reform, non-governmental organisations, and the broader currents of public life. This MA has ESRC recognition and is one of only two such programmes offering quota places in the UK.

 

Entry Requirements

2.1 (Upper 2nd class hons degree or international equivalent) Mature applicants without standard entry requirements but with substantial and relevant experience may be considered
