Course Description
Mechanical engineers design, manufacture, repair and operate everything we need in our daily lives; from smart phones to passenger airplanes, artificial hearts to power plants. At the forefront of ground-breaking innovations, mechanical engineers overcome problems and enable society to become more advanced and adventurous in its possibilities. Our Masters course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of advanced engineering design and analysis techniques, modern materials and their structural integrity, and advanced manufacturing technology. As a recent graduate in engineering or established mechanical engineer working in industry, you ll be technically-minded, creative, good at solving problems and want to invest in your personal career development and extend your technical mechanical engineering knowledge. You ll develop and employ a wide-range of desirable skills, including IT and management, written and spoken communication, teamwork, planning and time management, creativity, flexibility, and data analysis. The skills that you develop will then prepare you for a wider range of industries and roles that can range from manufacturing, power, construction and medical industries as well as the management of people and resources, and the development and use of new materials and technologies.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants will require an honours degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent subject at 2.2 or above from a recognised university.
